Developed Final Piece- Location/ Scotland

Reflecting on my experimental pieces I created, there was a series of combined technique
and layering with samples. which meant digitally making adjustments, in three of the captured designs.
further development to my design are elements, of fine detail of embroidery stitch, elements
of layering showing two different designs which captured a large scale, of expressive
vivid colours which completed each design. As all three have a link but are also diverse.

Core Project- Location/ Scotland

Working from a series of primary imagery, I then added elements of my chosen
artist to the image. experimenting with colour, textures and  a series of lines. Each sample shows,
diversity and a range of calm and expressive colour with fin detail.

Core Project - Location/ Scotland

Reflecting on primary imagery and re-creating an image. It enabled me to produce
experimental pieces, using a range of techniques such as, continuous
embroidery stitch, material layering and a series of mono prints which were furthered developed.
I enjoyed being creative, along with adding elements of fabric and embroidery stitch.
To add finishing touches and development.

Textiles - Development Experimentation Cones

These are my developed samples of my cones which have been over laid
on top of the original experimental image to create something diverse but effective.
Experimenting with the image I've changed the contrast and creating different effects with both responses
showing diversity and originality

Textiles Experimentation Samples

These were my first samples i created responding to my research. creating continuous repeats and adding
elements of colour to all three samples. Showing zoomed in version and a apiece showing all textures
along with which colours are present in each piece.
I enjoyed experimenting and creating various  samples adding colour
and developing them further.

Polystyrene & Mono Print (with bubble wrap) - Hand stitch

Organza & Bubble Wrap (with embroidery stitch)

I produced another experimental sample in response to my theme and primary imagery
connecting with the theme and colour scheme. creating this sample I took a different
approach by using bubble wrap with organza and continuos stitch but forming more of a fragile effect
using the heat gun making the overall sample tight together an fragile.

Textile Sample- Metallic Acrylic Paint With bubble Wrap (continuousembroidery stitch)

Producing a sample which consist of bubble wrap and metallic paint was very interesting and creative
as the overall outcome was effective and unique. these samples reflect on my theme and colour scheme
for reflection. I enjoyed creating these samples as i was able to develop them further and form them
in many ways adding additional pieces of fabric and embroidery stitch.

Mono print combined with Shibori

I decided to create something which was new and diverse.
I experimented with fabrics to create a Shibori from my Mono print sample.
Producing this sample I created a mono print and layered it with organza creating a firm round circle from the buttons.
This meant I was able to develop my samples further forming something unique and diverse from my primary imagery.
